shower drains below kitchen ceiling

I have limited space under the bathroom floor for shower and basin drains so I propose removing the kitchen ceiling in the area (one corner of the kitchen) and running the drains under the joists and then boxing it all in with a screwed hatch which would allow access to the drains should I need it.
Does anyone know of any reason why I should not do this?

Hi texteditor
Can't see any reason why this should not work but suggest you run the pipe below the existing ceiling so as to save doing the messy job of ceiling removal.

Thanks Stoneboy, but ceiling is already goosed due to toilet failure and needs repair, what I propose will "repair" most of ceiling and give access to plumbing in case of future failure.
