Kitchen / diner Order of Battle

Dear All
Having the kitchen done shortly, taking a wall out between kitchen / living room to create open plan kitchen diner. Have been putting a list together for the order of battle :lol:

Remove old kitchen units
Remove radiator on wall been took out
Tie off electrics, cap off plumbing
Remove living room gas fire (being replaced)
Remove dado rail
Remove artex from living room ceiling
Builder to take wall out, insert concrete lintel
Install French doors
Install services electrics, plumbing etc
Install lighting
Move alarm sensor
Plaster ceiling, walls
Coving
Paint walls
Install radiator
Flooring down, tiles in kitchen part (underfloor heating), laminate in living room
Skirting boards
Install kitchen units / worktops
Splash back
Tile kitchen walls above units
Install appliances: oven, gas hob, built-in dishwasher, built in washing machine, cooker hood, under mount sink / tap
Install gas fire

Could you please put me right if I have dropped any obvious clangers, thanks

IMHO tile floor AFTER kitchen units installed not before. There is no point in installing kitchen units on top of tiles - waste of tiles. What substrate are you tiling onto for the kitchen floor?

Painting seems to come a bit soon after plastering.

Don't forget kitchen is "special location" under Part P of Bldg regs for your leccy bits.

Otherwise it looks pretty much under control. Bet it don't end up in this order though. :lol:
