Will large shed built next to house wall cause damp?

Hello, really hoping someone can help. My neighbours garden backs on to the side of my main house. (He is corner and I am end terrace) yesterday he built a fairly large Wooden shed/summerhouse which is very close to the wall on my home. I am now very concerned about it causing damp. Can anyone tell me how close he is allowed to build to the main wall of my house please? Thank you so much in advance
