Our very nice bureau has a problem with its hinges on the pull-down desk leaf - they have failed to hold. We have got new, slightly larger, hinges to replace them with, which we have seen on another bureau and feel they are far more robust and satisfactory. We need advice on how to know where to place the new hinges, so that the drop-leaf works perfectly! Many thanks, in anticipation!
