Help!
We are about to be creating an en suite bathroom which might end up not having any natural light or ventilation - I don't like the idea of this and would love to put in a small window (the room itself will be created on the gable end wall).

We would have to remove some sandstone to make the hole for a window - could any one give an indication of what the cost for this might be? Or what are the alternatives for natural ventilation, are they any good?

Thanks

HA,

CONTACT YOUR LOCAL PLANNING OFFICE AS IT IS LIKELY THAT YOU WILL NEED PLANNING PERMISSION TO INSTALL A WINDOW!

IF PERMISSION IS GRANTED, GET QUOTES FROM BUILDERS FOR THE REQUIRED INSTALLATION AS THEY WILL BE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN TELL YOU WHAT THE COST WILL BE!

THE INSTALLATION WILL THEN BE INSPECTED BY YOUR LOCAL BCO TO ENSURE COMPLIANCY WITH REGS/CODES.

REGARDS,

ALDA.
