big open fire place

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME ? I HAVE A BIG OPEN FIRE PLACE, IS THERE A VENT THAT WILL FIT IN THE CHIMNEY THAT CAN BE CLOSED WHEN THE FIRE IS NOT IN USE, TO STOP LOSING HEAT FROM CENTRAL HEATING, THANK YOU

If you will never have another fire in that fireplace then block the chimney with some plywood and polystyrne.
If you intend to use the fire, then buy a piece of aluminium sheet from B Q and make a hinged trap door that can be pushed up out of the way when you have a fire.
