How to clean interior stonework

Hi,

I've recently moved in to an older property with several exposed stone walls (unsealed) within the interior. The walls are in fairly good shape and don't need sandblasting - I'm really after some tips on how to keep them clean as they are quite dusty. I realise this is likely to be part of the deal wih stone walls but would welcome any tips on ways of giving them a gentle clean aside from hoovering?!

Thanks

Thanks for your reply - I've heard you have to let stonework 'breath' will the PVA solution seal completely or allow some 'breathing' if that does need to take place?
