Gornal Stone

by captainsid » Wed Jan 02, 2013 9:45 pm

Hi

I have recently purchased an house and have just started designing the garden.

After having a few people around to talk through options, a few have commented on the stone walls in the garden.

I have around 10 tonne of what i have been told is Gornal Stone, mainly in a few retaining walls and foot paths.

My question is, rather than put the stone in the skip when the new design kicks in, is there a way of selling it on i.e Stone Masons?

Didnt really want to put in the local paper etc - not sure how much its worth.

Any ideas or opinions would be great.

Thanks

Sid
