hi , i have a solid supporting wall upstairs , and nothing supporting over half the wall down , i do belive 3-4 years ago new roof was added witch would also add weight to this wall , in just over 2 years our upstairs floor has gone from flat to sloped were the wall is pushing down , the room directly under this ceiling is bowed were the timber is bending ! now surely this cant be safe ? as timber will only bow so much ??

I suggest getting a structural engineer to have a look, he will tell you what size of beam to have installed
