Hi everyone,
Newbie here.My name is Ray.I have purchased a 1930 end terrace house and wish to tackle some diy jobs which include couple of brick walls about a metre high in the garden.

Is there any tool to get a brick wall straight except string line. How does one mark points so that the wall is perfect. Are the laser tools any good in daylight.

Thanks..

Hi Bouba

There are a few products on the market at present - some good, some bad. One that we looked at and reviewed a while ago is pretty good and we have a review on it which can be found here, see what you think: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/product-rev ... -tools.htm

Hope this helps!

if its not a long length of wall you can use a straight edge, basically a long straight piece of wood, that you can use to align the bricks
