I am going to demolish my garden wall, approx. 40 square metres .
My question is this,
How much volume will 40 metres of brick walling create once its been demolished. What size of skip will be needed ?

So a 4 metre skip will be enough ? , I ask as tonage is not the same by volume as sand or ballast

When you say 40m of brickwall do you mean 40m2??

If so you are looking at 2400 bricks these alone will weigh somewhere in the region of 6 tonnes + the mortar used to lay them in the region of an other 2 tonnes.

Now if you lay them in the skip with no voids you might get them all in a 8 yrd skip.
