Does anyone know if you can use PVA as a bonding/ primer for Epoxy Mortar or do you have to use a specific one?

There are generally products recommended by the manufacturer. Sometimes in the 2 part kits there is enough of the latex liquid to use. However if there isn't or there's no recommended agent, SBR would be a better bet than PVA.

Try something like this: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/DIY-superst ... litre.html
