Will Concrete Solid Floor in Outbuilding Expand Over Time?

We are refurbishing an existing outbuilding which has stone walls and to enable us to knock through from the main house at some point in the future the floor needs to be raised about 2ft. Whilst doing the work part of the end wall became unstable and has now been rebuilt using thermalite and concrete blocks. Two other walls are party to the existing house and the front wall is now the only existing external wall. Is there any risk in the 2ft deep concrete floor expanding over time - or more possibly the stone wall expanding, and the stone wall becoming unstable?

yes it will expand, but you can use polystyrene around the edge to act as an expansion joint
