I'm building a pizza oven that requires me to build a concrete frame / hearth stand (instructions are american and state that standard 8’ x 8” x 16” and 8” x 8” x 8” concrete hollow blocks are used; see image)

i have not found any of these type in my local DIY place but i have found FIBOLITE, an ultra lightweight load bearing block (100 x 440 x 215mm). Lengths and height aside, the width is half that of the hollow blocks.

The instructions im using can be found on the following link
http://www.outdoorpizzaovens.ca/pdf/Pompeii_eBook.pdf (pages 22-31 relate to the frame)
the Fibolite is on the following link

My question is, should i use 2 layers of the Fibolite to make the same width of the hollow blocks or are they designed in such a way that one layer will suffice?
