I have to put up a large shelf to hold a tumble drier. It is to go into the corner of a room. However the walls are breeze block and I'm not sure ofthe best way to fix the supporting battens to the walls. Any suggestions welcome.

I've used masonry bolts when attaching anything load bearing to breeze block , probably overkill but these go directly in the breeze block and tightened using a socket wrench (not a tool) ...just drill a pilot hole,,,,think it was the 2mm down from the thread of the bolt.

Lightening bolts I think they were called and I used a decent washer to stop it digging into the wood.

Had great success even in poor quality breeze block
