I have noticed some cracks on the inside of my garage wall, it's 2 skins of brick thick but is retaining about 5ft of soil behind it. How would I go about strengthening or repairing it cheaply but properly

cheaply , buy concrete fence posts, cut holes in the concrete floor every 900mm apart and sink the posts in the floor as deep as possible ,and concrete in place

Thanks Welshbrickie after consulting with a few mates in various trades I have decided to dig a trench in the soil to the depth of the garage foundations and pour a concrete retaining wall up against the garage wall and then install a French drain with perforated pipe under the gravel leading to a drain. It's going to be a lot more expensive but should be a proper job that will save me Hassel in the long run
