Getting a Cable for Security Camera Through a Cavity Wall
Posted: Wed Sep 26, 2018 11:08 am
Hi all,
I am new to this forum.
I am not an expert or a professional but I love DIY.
I have a security camera that has to be connected to a power socket through a usb cable.
My question is: what's the best advice for doing this?
I was thinking to drill the cavity wall (with a small inclination to avoid condensation getting in) and to protect the cable with a plastic tube (also to make the passage from inside to outside easier).
I will then seal the holes with silicon or caps.
What do you think? Am I doing it right?
My concern is about condensation?
Any advice would be super welcome!
Thanks a lot to everyone
