Windowsill build and damp proofing

Hi all
We have been renovating a property and have excavated layer upon layer of rubble, concrete build up that was a bit damp and crumbly. This has exposed the “stone lintel” that is outside facing as well as in if that makes sense. The photos will explain better, the question is should we leave this exposed or damp proof it somehow and then build back up with stone?

Hi josh1990,
If your lintel is a sill projecting outside with a drip groove then with your solid walls you may as well just rebuild the inside masonry.
