Wet or dry bricks to use when building outdoor archway

i will be rebuilding a brick outdoor archway with bricks with 3 large holes through all of them. been indoors for 8 months to dry out as advised by bricklayer. do i use dry or semi dry or wet please when i rebuild arch next month cheers
