Tyvek or similar on external blockwork

I am DIY building a garden room. I'm doing it out of 3.6N Fibolite blocks instead of timber. It has an insulated base and a warm roof. It's not a cavity wall - just a single skin of blocks. I will batten the inside, fit PIR in-between these battens and then foil tape over all the joins and over the batten before fitting the plasterboard.

So far I have done the insulated base, the blockwork and finished the warm roof, soffits, fascias and guttering. My attention now goes to the door and cladding once the door is fitted.

The exterior will be finished with slatted composite cladding with 50mm x 25mm roofing battens to fix to. My question is, before I batten the outside, should I wrap with Tyvek (or similar)?

I've seen a lot of pics and videos where people have wrapped - and also not wrapped - so I'm a little at a loss as to the right/best way to do this.

Guidance appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi whydidistartthis ,
Provided your external cladding is weatherproof the is little to be gained by including a layer of breathable felt.
Inevitably in cold weather damp will condense on the inside of the cold exterior cladding, a breathable membrane will not prevent this.
