HI, I recently had my toilet moved but the problem is I've a hole (gap) around the waste pipe on the exterior wall. This means the toilet is very cold. I'm not good at diy but can follow instructions - do I just fill in gap with paper or something and then cement over ???

hi,get a bag of ready mixed mortar,(sand and cement)from b&q or similar and a pointing trowel.mix in a bucket with water and get as much as you can in the hole.do the same from the inside.

Buy a cannister of foam, spray into the cavity, when dry it can be cut back, then rendered over
