Hi, is it hard wood or softwood decking?

Hi,
I take it is done by now anyway (if you found a dry few days for it). My advise anyway: After a bad experience with (so called) decking paints, which peel off after a while I always use clear decking oil (liberon seems to be the best make), type liberon decking oil into google and there are loads of suppliers.
ps. a good power wash every 6 months or so followed by another coat of oil works wonders.
