Installing Drainage in Below Ground Pond to Convert to Fire Pit
Posted: Wed Aug 19, 2015 10:35 am
Hello there
I am currently converting my below ground pond into a fire pit, and as my name suggests I am relatively new to DIY gardening.
The pond is 14 inches from the brim to the bottom, and approximately 6 and a half inches below ground level.
It is a concrete framed pond with plastic liner.
I was hoping you would be able to offer me some advice on how to properly install some drainage or protection so the pond does not fill with water again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
