Advice needed on a circular saw bleed

Hi,
I am in the process of lifting some floorboards to relay in my living room - with view to sanding , varnishing etc. I'd like to make some amendments to the length of the lifted boards using a circular saw. My black and decker CD601 circular saw has a blade with 12 teeth 170mm x 16mm max rpm 7000. I understand a neater cut would be achieved by more teeth (40?) I am having difficulty choosing a suitable blade and wondered if someone could assist in what I should buy?
Thank you in advance
Neil
