Spiral Staircase for Loft Conversion - Where can I get one From?

Hi,
I'm searching for a spiral staircase to fit a loft conversion but am unsure about a few things.
First of all is a cast iron staircase going to be too heavy for a first floor installation?
Also I've read that the height of a modular spiral staircase can be adjusted using washers or 'shims' between each tread. Can anyone tell me where I can get these from?
