Raising Boarded Area in Loft After Adding Additional Insulation

by engineer1946 » Wed Oct 08, 2014 5:45 pm

Please can anyone advise? I have increased my loft insulation by 170mm, i have a small storage area which is boarded, I want to lift this area by 170mm to allow me to insulate underneath, would it be OK to use 90x40 studding cut to length and spaced at 300mm centres? Thanks for any help

To be honest the quickest and easiest way to do this is you buy some loft legs. This is a product that we have used in the past:
