To Buy or not to Buy Oak Furniture for the Bedroom?

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum so...my name is Cameron and basically I've been looking to buy new bedroom furniture for a while. At first I was looking at Pine Wood but then I was recommended Oak because of it's excellent properties (it lasts a more than a life time apparently). So anyway, I'm thinking of buying this https://www.oakfurnitureking.co.uk/oak-bedroom-furniture/dressing-tables/french-chateau-solid-oak-dressing-table Has anyone had good experiences with Oak Wood before? and more importantly, has anyone had any sort of experience with this company before that they can tell me of???
