Cowboy tiling (funny)

We moved into this house 2 years ago. The previous landlords had a go at a number of DIY tasks, many of them involving selotape! My favourite, though, is the tiling in the kitchen. Aside from the obvious issues, the absolute best bit is the tiling around the shelf. I have tried to imagine, over the past 2 years, what the internal monologue was when doing this bit:
"Hmmm, the tiles are a bit too high for the shelf... I could raise the shelf up 10mm but...nah, i'll just cut the tiles and edging around both brackets, that will be easier..."

Amazing. Hope you enjoy!

It's funny how the previous owner deal with this stuff. Maybe, he was not skillful enough to re-organize it.

I don't know what he is thinking but I do find it funny. It's amazing how he tilts the tile since it will break easily once hit by the chisel.

I agree with you. But I don't know if he uses a chisel on this. Maybe a grinder?
