Hello, I wasn't sure whether to put this here, in Bathrooms & Drainage or Damp and Damp Proofing. I've opted for this forum as, at this stage, it seems a bit bigger than damp or internal plumbing. It's in a Tyneside ground floor flat built around 1900 and there's a pool of water forming about 50 cm beneath the joists. We've been digging around the rocky junk that's been left down there to find a source but there's a lot of stuff to shift and a day of digging didn't locate anything. We don't know where it's coming from. it refills slowly after pumping it out but levels out at around the 50 cm beneath the floor. I can't find any internal plumbing leaks but there was a leaking gutter dripping into the yard which was fixed a month ago. Any ideas what it might be?
