Acrylic Bath Fitting (No Frame)

by MalH » Tue Sep 29, 2009 8:43 am

Help

Acrylic bath came with no frame, vendor unhelpful. There is no fixing points for a frame and no chipboard on the underside of the bath. there is a wooden batton running all the way arounf the underside (Under the top edge of the bath) and I have been told to make a wooden frame attached to this and the wall.

Is this right????

hi, you need to stabilize it against the wall side first. put a batten level on the wall at the height that the bath will rest on it and then across the width. this will support the bath
