Acrylic mirror on wardrobe doors

by CharlesMG » Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:57 pm

Hi,

I would like to glue two 223cmx39cm acrylic mirror sheets to the back of my wardrobe doors. However, reading the specifications of the acrylic mirror sheets, they're recommended on a flat surface only. As you can see in the attached photos, my wardrobe doors' middle is inner/intended. However, the sheets would be glued to the outframe all around (top, bottom, and two sides). Does anyone know if that would be enough to keep the sheet flat and straight? Or would anyone has an idea what could I do to create a flat surface (glue plywood into the intends)?

Thanks for your help and ideas.
