Hi all,

I need to replace the sealant around some window frames and door frames. Essentially where there is a PVC strip around the window/door, where this adjoins the window / wall.

I'm assuming the removing is a case of Stanley knife followed by some sealant remover?

Would you recommend any specific sealants to use? Is standard silicone okay, or would you recommend something more heavy duty?

use decorators caulk to seal upvc to plaster. Use silicone for upvc to upvc.
You can also buy a upvc solvent cleaner to clean the window before application
