Hi, Just looking for some advice.
I am buying a flat on the ground floor with a garden that is shared with the upstairs flat. The patio (which is solely mine) and garden slope towards the back wall of the flat which my surveyor has said is contributing to damp issues. The patio is laid with old uneven poured concrete with fairly extensive cracks. I'd happily get this relaid, either replaced or fixed so that it is level and no longer slopes towards the flat. However the upstairs flat have an external wooden balcony and a staircase that allows them to access the garden. These are supported by posts that sit on the concrete patio I want to replace. Can anyone suggest what would be the best way to level out the patio without needing to remove the stairs? Thanks!
