Hi, I need to remove a section of bay window but am having trouble identifying the correct tools/method for removing the corner post.
The post has an extendable top section and looks like it is adjusted by turning the ring immediately below the threaded section. I have tried unsuccessfully to turn the ring using a screw driver as a lever. I think I need a longer lever to get enough force to turn it but cannot find anything suitable.
Can anyone advise the correct tool and method for removing the post.
