Air in Towel Heater

Post by dunaldo » Tue Apr 08, 2008 7:21 am

Hi, we had a towel heater fitted a couple of months ago, and recently we have been having a few problems. There seems to be a strange smell coming from the radiator, it is hot at the bottom and cold at the top, so i bleed the radiator and there is a rush of air that smells. Sometimes when i bleed it there is the rush of air and then the water starts to come out, other times the water doesnt come out. Any advice on how to solve this would be apreciated

AIR GETTING INTO HEATING SYSTEM!

IF YOU HAVE AN F&E TANK, CHECK THAT IT HAS WATER IN AND THAT BALLCOCK IS OPERATING CORRECTLY.
