I'm looking at a renovation of a georgian property, however there are potential structural issues that need sorting, in particular several large cracks emanating from the lintels of a new upvc door and an older sash window.
See attached image, is this a common issue and a straight forward fix? The property will need a survey, but i dont want to spend money on a survey if its obvious it'll cost tons of cash to sort.
It seems that these cracks appear due to the new door not being able to support the load above, which would explain the patio door, but not necessarily the older window.
