Artex patching

by US Scotland » Tue Apr 27, 2010 12:48 pm

I am looking to refurbish an office, and will have to relocate some lights. Ceiling is currently artexed, so will have to cut new holes for lights and patch over old holes. Can anyone suggest a way to fix my ceiling afterwards without having to re-artex the patches? Happy if it's not perfect, and am on a tight budget!

Thanks in anticipation of your expert advice!

Hi, if you are going to patch the holes then the best and probably the easiest way to finish the job would be to artex it, just the patches that is. It would still stand out from the rest but not as much as putting something on the ceiling to cover the holes.
