Attaching battens on the floor with Gripfill? Help, advice, information, answers and tips on all types of flooring from laminate and carpet to timber and vinyl

I want to batten out a concrete floor to insulate and then cover with chipboard T&G, and laminate on top.

Would gripfill or pinkgrip do the job (as it would be quicker and easier) or should I use frame fixings?
