Back Flushing Blocked Bathroom Hot Water Pipe?

by Kevin8091 » Tue Jun 23, 2015 4:26 pm

I posted about the HW tap on the bathroom basin slowing to dribble a few weeks back. This happened overnight and not a gradual slowing of the flow. The tap and stop valve are ok so it must be blocked in the short piece of pipe from the basin to the main 22 mm pipe under the bath. The kitchen and bath HW taps are fine. The basin has mains water. I assume that I can connect the basin cold to the HW and flush back out through the open HW tap on the bath or better to leave the bath tap closed and flush into the cylinder?
