backup battery

by best5 » Sun Jan 25, 2009 2:02 pm

I have a Switchmaster 9001 boiler controller which loses all settings when the mains power is interrupted. The backup battery is a rather large button style measuring approx 22mm in diameter x 12mm deep and is very easy to replace. However I cannot find out the battery specification and thus am unable to source a replacement. Is anyone able to help?

It seems the Switchmaster is very rare now, but found a battery by Googling it.

The part no is 52453091 and costs £6.75. Just Google that part no.

Hi, unless there is a number on the battery you may have to change for a modern programmer as the size you quote is not near any in my catalogues, sorry

Thanks - the only markings on the battery appear to be "Z2A 110" with below that "231". Does that help at all?
