We've taken our property back to brick and are looking at plasterboard options.
Space is tight so we are considering 22mm gyproc thermaline basic for external facing walls

Would there be much gain in using this over standard 12.5mm board to justify it being 4x more expensive for a basic level of insulation.
Basic r value 0.19, insulated 0.04 (There is no perspective for me on these numbers)
Any better ideas?
