Baxi Bermuda gas heater/fire. safety upgrades

by Johnnie » Tue Feb 01, 2011 6:37 pm

The pilot-light has blocked on the front-heater of the Baxi Bermuda and, because of H&SE repairs are forbidden, no service engioneer will clean or repair the pilot light, unless a safety cut-out is provided to the front fire gas supply.
Can anyone advise whenther a mod is available to permit this to be recitfied in accordance with current legislation?

Rubbish, new installations have to have a flame supervision device/oxypilot.

Old fires can still be used, repaired and maintained, and the Baxi Bermuda - if it does have a pilot then it will have a Flame supervision device and an oxypilot
