I've taken on a house which benefitted from the government insulation scheme and has had an extra layer of insulation put down in the attic. I wanted to board it out but realise that with the extra I'll need to install the loft legs. I've noticed that some don't bother with the extra layer and just insulate in-between the roof rafters.
Which would you recommend? Loft legs then boards or removing the extra layer so regular boards can be placed across joists then isolation (celotex or similar) installed between the rafters?
