Best heating option for garage conversion?

by thewallsare » Wed Jul 22, 2020 10:18 am

What is the best heating option for a garage conversion?

Connecting to the house boiler is not possible, the garage is detached at 50 yards from the house.

Looking at electric radiators, but they look expensive to run?

Cheers

Hi thewallsare
You could go for an air source heat pump but in a well insulated garage conversion electric is probably your only viable option.

Some electric radiates are quite efficient today and in some cases just as efficient as your boiler. I would look around in some good reputable electrical wholesalers for electrical radiators something in the region of 1800w - 3000w with modern smart controls are easily got today.
