Best Method for Drylining Brick and Block Extension

by Ollywest » Sat Jan 28, 2017 12:26 am

Hi
Any advice would be welcome on the most suitable method of drylining a new extension, it's brick & block construction. Dot & dab seems the easiest but as I'm no plasterer a battened job would seem better and give extra insulation and ease of cable runs.
Can the battens go straight onto the block or is membrane required, was planning to use foil backed 12.5mm board.
Thanks
