Bird deterrent for telephone wires? Information, help and tips on many areas of roofing including trusses, tiling, venting, insulation etc....

Does anyone know of a product that can be attached to telphone wires to deter birds? We have a wire that crosses the property and we live in an area with plenty of birds which cause a real mess of our back garden. Similarly, something for gutters would be good.
