Good evening We had our loft converted into a room, with a door leading in the unused space under the rafters. The floor in the empty space has been insulated and boarded over, but the rafters and felt visivlble and unsightly. I am putting shelving in the space for tidy storage, but will not look nice with the felt and cobwebs Can I just cover with Hardboard or Plywood , leaving a gap top and bottom of the pitch for airflow or do I need to insulate then cover. Any suggestions, thank you
Thank you for help There looks like a gap where the ridges meet the floorboards , as you can see daylight, I presume this is the vent . I don't plan on boarding the whole area, only about 1 1/2 meters in.
