Boiler leak

by Gail Owram » Tue Jun 01, 2010 11:41 am

We had a Baxi Combi 80 Eco Gas Fired Wall Mounted Combination Boiler installed in 2003.
We have just returned from holiday and had turned the boiler off for 8 days. On our return their is a slight leak dripping from the base the boiler. Any advice or can you recommend an engineer in our area, Halifax/[/b]

Without more detail (where the leak is coming from) you're not going to get much helpful advice. Apart from get an RGI to take a look.

alil more detail please, i'm guessing that you have not lost any system pressure
probably from the diverter valve, i do find alot of leaky spindles on them. not too drastic and easy to fix for any gas safe registered engineers that will be more on the left side when facing the boiler
