Hi all

Was planning on building a post and rail fence behind a dry stone retaining wall, however after some research it seems I should do this as I risk popping the wall out unless it’s at least 3 feet away from the wall.

Could I get away with it behind a smaller slate sheet retaining wall?

Does anyone have any solutions or done anything’s similar in the past.
