hi, im having a conservatory built and doing my own electrics all i want to do is spur of the nearest socket from the house to put in 2 double sockets into the conservatory can i spur off one socket and then spur of the spured socket again? these sockets will not be used for anything too powerfull.....also can i bury the cable into the concrete floor could any one advise me on this

i also want to fit 2 wall lights in which i planned to run off one of the spured sockets using a fused switch is this ok to do

Hi, If you use a fused spur from house socket then no limit to how many you add on radial as limited total load to 13A, then go thro' second spur with 3A fuse for lights, can use sw. on spur as light sw. saves wiring ,
If burying cables in floor screed then use plastic conduit to protect wiring.

hi thanks for your advise just one more thing at the moment my shed is run off the socket from the house with armoued cable which goes from the socket into a fuse box in the shed i plan to disconnect this run my spurs in the conservatoy then reconnect the shed to the last spur can this be done......

so basically im disconnecting the shed cable from the socket in my house then run a cable to a spured socket in the conservatory then to another spur which i will add a fused switch to feed the wall lights..
can i reconnect the shed cable back to one of the spur's the one thats not feeding the wall lights

You could but remember total load will be 13A for cons. plus shed , also remember it's illegal to do wiring alterations out doors so once shed disconnected you can't legally reconnect it yourself, bldg regs, Part p etc.
